Day 1
- Private transfer from the airport to your hotel
- Get a welcome aperitivo while you get settled into your room
- Meet with your experienced tour guide
- Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant
Day 2
Visit to ancient Roman city, ancient underground church, catacombs and ancient Roman museum.
Day 3
Visit 3 different medieval castles from the center of the valley.
Day 4
- Visit the rural north Valle D’ Aosta and experience rural traditions and real culture and food.
- See how prosciutto is cured and how many different cheeses are made in a climate that produces very unique flavor
- Take a very short walk up the hill, crossing the Switzerland border, and visit a historical museum with artifacts from 1st Century BC through the 17th
- Do some light shopping at the locals’ tents, where you can find homemade trinkets, antiques, clothes, soaps, etc.
Day 5
- Spend the day at the “Pearl of the Alps”. Take a cableway and 2 ski lifts to a beautiful village where there are no cars and time stood still.
- Walk along the tiny streets and enjoy the beautiful Italian landscapes. Enjoy an authentic Italian mountain village, with wood and stone buildings, beautiful wood carvings, flower gardens and old Italian architecture
- Eat at one of succulent restaurants along a beautiful blue lake or picnic along the lakeside at one of the many picnic locations
- Tour the villages local parish church, built in 1681
- Enjoy shopping at local village shops and visit local art galleries while enjoying locally prepared snacks and drinks
Day 6
Spend a day of leisure enjoying a large village full of castles, old parishes, 18th century Germain architecture, museums, botanical gardens, local shops and authentic village restaurants
Day 7
- Visit 3 medieval castles, alps museum, medieval village and fortress dating back to 1034
- See ancient shrines built in the 11th century and see how they made bread by grinding grains using ancient machines and baking using village ovens
